Indian Election to be made Online

In last few months Indian Election and EVMs were talking point of the country. I don’t know if EVM were tampered or not but as Software tester I know for sure that not a single product in world is bug free. That is first point we were taught in testing industry. But right now I don t want to talk about that as this should be the agenda of Election commission to justify.
There was a question in my mind since long that why Indian Election shouldn’t be made online? What are the pros and Cons of shifting election to online?

Currently Indians have Voter Id number and Aadhar number. If there could be a system developed which can use these numbers and create an account for every Indian who can vote.  Every Indian will receive code to login into his/her account by entering his details. Every Voter id is unique so no other guy can copy that for wrong purposes. Plus double security can be done by adding Aadhar number also.
Now-a-days usage and reach of smartphones are increasing day by day. This voting can be done through App also.
Steps:
  • Just download this App in your smartphone
  • Login with your credentials.
  • Enter the Code received.
  • Click on the Party you want to Vote and
  • Then Submit.
  • Receive SMS to confirm you vote.

I will write about positives only from this system and I invite people to highlight negatives from this, if any.
Pros:
  1. Voting process can be speed up.  No need to go to voting center and be in queue
  2. Voter verification process would get shortened as this can be done online.
  3. Lots and lots of saving of Government funds.
  4. Better use of Government teachers/staffs that travel long distances to cover election.
  5. False and duplicate voting can be stopped.
  6. Large number of voter turnout as they can cast their vote sitting on the couch in their room.
  7. Last but not the least same day result as counting can be done simultaneously.

Only con that I can think of now is hacking. But unlike EVM and Ballot boxes, these Apps are neither transported anywhere nor stored in any warehouse. With current cyber security hacking can be controlled if implemented properly. If Govt. comes to know that election has been hacked then also re-election can be done within days after analyzing the fault properly. The cost involved in re-election would be very less compared to current system.

Mr. Kejriwal at national level

I am huge fan of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party.

Flintobox IN

I am really desperate to see some real change in Delhi and in India also. BJP had cheated everyone that’s clear but do we have other option/Party going to election in 2019.

I want to see Mr. Arvind Kejriwal as a National Leader not just limited to Delhi. It is high time Mr. Kejriwal leave the CM seat of Delhi and move to some bigger platform. It is high time to see the bigger picture and AAP has no better leader than Kejriwal. Please don’t lead to final conclusion right away without reading my complete blog and giving it thought for some time.

In 2014 BJP won because Indians were looking for some change, looking for some leader after 10 years debacle of congress... In 2014 people saw better option in BJP…But what better option do we have in 2019? None…

BJP has failed in every department in last 3 years but he will again win in 2019 because Indians don’t have any better option. Can AAP be that option? Can AAP be hope to the people that Indian politics can be changed? If you don’t want to see Modi fooling again, we Indians need another leader, another party. Can AAP challenge BJP in 2019? Don’t try to get along with Third front or fourth front.

Who would be the best messenger than Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to spread out that message? Indian politics is witnessing something better through AAP, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. It is high time to give CM seat to Mr. Sisodia and Mr. Kejriwal took the fight to National level. Dr Kumar Vishwas is good but why only him. He needs support and both of you can do wonder but together.

There are many states from where we can start our campaign, Goa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan. I personally prefer smaller states to target first rather than UP and Rajasthan. Strategically, we can fight in Bengal where Mamta is weaker and indirectly support her. Who want to lose the position we have created in last Lok Sabha in Punjab?

Instead don’t target states but target no. of seats. Identify some 200 seats approx and make them your home town and focus fully on those seats. Mr. Kejriwal has to personally visit those places and if you really want to win them you have to start right now.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    To be continued…..

Daily Bazaars in Delhi

Continuing to the Daily Bazaars in Delhi named on the day itself.
Delhi is national capital and an international city and we are planning to make it a smart city. So do we want to see these markets in smart city?
At first, a thought comes in mind that can these markets be removed from streets of Delhi completely seeing their presence in Delhi? But I think this can be done with proper planning and execution.

When I start writing this article, Sulabh Toilets came to my mind how these guys have spread their business.
Why Delhi government can’t open shops like for e.g., Safal stores in every locality. Think about Amma Canteen.

Government can buy directly from farmers and get transported to each and every store.

When Delhi Government opens such stores, the main opposition will come from these small sellers only. So we need to recruit those guys who are now selling in these markets and whose earning will be impacted by this Govt scheme.
With proper execution these markets can be phased out in next 4-5 years and that would be a great achievement.

We can survey the daily markets in 2-3 localities. We have to cover every bit so that during implementation we don’t miss anything.
Survey can be done covering:
  • ·         Number of sellers
  • ·         Earning per seller per day
  • ·         Number of days they are selling
  • ·         Supply chain

We need to take minimum of 500 sq ft. in every locality and will store vegetables and fruits. For every store we’ll hire 4-5 people for smooth running.
This model can be fully outsourced or run on PPP model, but we need to ensure that we are buying vegetables and fruits preferably from local farmers only. We can give preference to local ones and then to others.

Suggestions and arguments are welcome......
